I was born and raised in Switzerland. I’m lucky to be the daughter of a Swiss man and a Spanish woman. That, apart from the fact that I grew up bilingual, I was fortunate enough to spend the best summers of my life in my village in León (Spain). Ever since I was a little girl I knew that when I grew up, I would go live in Spain but before I did, I took a detour. I lived in the United States for a few years first.
Before I crossed the pond, I finished my degree in Switzerland, where I studied Business Studies. This was because of the fact that I had always liked the world of business. In fact, in the US, I worked in banking for a few years. Being Swiss, it couldn’t have happened any other way! It was a job that I was passionate about because it involved face-to-face contact with customers and the satisfaction that came from how their needs became part of my priorities. The Internet revolution (dot com era) also took place during that time. It was then that my passion for being online sprung to life, with the telephone line being occupied continuously.
What good times!
And now, here I am, in Salamanca and at Súmate, a young and dynamic company that lets me use my language skills and everything that I had learned from my previous experiences. At the same time it opens up the possibility to learn about and work in a field with such a bright future like there is for online marketing.
Outside of Súmate I enjoy spending time with my kids. I love to travel and get to know new places and I especially have a lot of fun reading good books.
