Words have always been a part of my life. Ever since I was little, I learned to love them through reading any book I could get my hands on. Whether they were from the library or from home. They were with me at both primary and secondary school until the moment of truth arrived and I asked myself, “now what do I do?”
I found out about the Translation and Interpretation degree at almost the end of my second year of school. I decided to try my luck at practically the last-minute but, when I started my first year at the Universidad de Salamanca, I knew I hadn’t made a mistake. Not only could I broaden my knowledge of the Spanish language but also play around with words in different languages. Later on, I stumbled upon the possibilities that the world of online marketing offers and… the rest is history!
When I’m not looking up unknown terms in the dictionary or creating lots of new texts, I listen to Heavy Metal, watch make-up tutorials and I tell whoever will listen to me how beautiful El Bierzo is, my humble abode.
“And don’t worry about the bits you can’t understand. Sit back and allow the words around you to wash over you, like music.” – Matilda
